29 CFR 1910.178

As promulgated by OSHA standard 29CFR 1910.178 only trained and authorized operators shall be permitted to operate a powered industrial truck. Training shall include the following:

• Manufacturers instructions for operation and inspection
• Responsibilities
• Fueling and battery charging procedures
• Basic safety operation procedures and limitations
• Engineering Principle
• Attended and unattended procedures
• Loading and unloading operations
• Inspection & Checklists
• Hands on operations & operator evaluation

Length: 4 hrs.

Course Renewal: 3 years
